Dr. Matter, “Dr. Jim” has a broad base of experience providing mental health services in various settings. Dr. Matter strives to connect with individuals, so they are able to honestly look at themselves and the challenges they are facing. Dr. Matter empowers individuals, couples, and families to modify their style of life and move from positions of weakness and dis-ease to positions of strength and wellbeing. In therapy, Dr. Matter uses ideas from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Adlerian Psychology, and he is trained in Clinical Hypnosis.
When he is not working with his patient and drinking coffee, Dr. Matter is camping, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends. Because Dr. Matter’s highly values physical exercise, he frequently weight trains and engages in cardiovascular exercise.

Kelsey utilizes a holistic approach to assist clients in overcoming the challenges of daily life. Kelsey is open-minded and she encourages clients to be honest with themselves and with others. Kelsey’s goal is to support clients in achieving a greater sense of fulfillment and fostering positive changes to improve wellbeing. Kelsey has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings utilizing. Kelsey tailors her therapeutic approach and the techniques she uses depending on the client's needs. Kelsey works with individuals who may struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, mood disorders, trauma, stress management, and relationship problems. In therapy, Kelsey integrates ideas from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, family systems, behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.
When Kelsey is not providing outpatient therapy services, she works in a local ER providing emergency services to patients in crisis. Outside of behavioral health work, Kelsey spends her free time training and competing as an amateur boxer. Kelsey values exercise and nutrition and strongly believes in the mind-body connection. Kelsey also enjoys cooking, houseplants, true crime, and quality time with her cat Tyson
