The clinicians of Matter Clinical Services, P.C. are able to provide on-line or web-based therapy in most cases.


 

When Is Teletherapy a good option?

  • When a person’s schedule is busy and he or she has limited time to travel to and from a psychologist’s/counselor’s office.

  • When business trips are required for a week or for an extended period of time.

  • When a student leaves for college/graduate school and wants to maintain counseling with his/her therapist.

  • When caring for a child or family member.  


 

What is Required for Teletherapy?

  • A HIPPA compliant app or software platform for video conferencing.

  • Owning a computer, tablet, or cell phone that can support streaming software/apps.

  • Access to a strong cellular signal or reliable Wi-Fi connection.

  • A quiet, private, and comfortable environment.

  • Benefit verification and authorization for Teletherapy/Telehealth) if using your insurance.
